We are looking for a detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team. You should have excellent analytical skills and the ability to conduct property/land surveys with complete accuracy. Besides, you should use mathematical calculations to confirm the survey measurements.
You should be able to coordinate with Site Supervisors and Construction Project Managers to schedule site surveys. Also, you should research and implement various surveying methods. Your computer skills and knowledge of CAD software will be helpful in maintaining online records of the survey results.
As a Surveyor, you should be willing to travel to different construction sites and work at flexible hours. Moreover, you should be able to communicate and explain the survey results to the clients. You should hold a valid PS license and be familiar with various terminologies used in this area of work.

Conducting surveys on various construction sites and properties
Researching and implementing new survey procedures and methods
Crosschecking past survey records to determine data accuracy
Measuring properties and construction sites using various equipment and tools like Cosmolabe, Alidade, and Geodimeter
Developing site sketches and maps
Ensuring that all surveying instruments are maintained and remain in working order
Preparing and presenting reports on survey findings
Coordinating with Construction Project Managers and Architects on a regular basis
Updating and maintaining an online record of the survey results
Using GIS devices to measure property boundaries
Confirming survey measurements using mathematical calculations
Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field
Having cleared NCEES, FS, or PS examination
Holding a valid PS license
Atleast 3 years of experience as a Surveyor or Land Surveyor in the Construction industry
Complete knowledge of GPS and GIS
Understanding of CAD software like TinkerCAD, Creo, and Solidworks
Familiarity with surveying tools and instruments like compasses, clinometers, and magnetic locators
Strong mathematical skills
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Good computer skills
Ability to work at flexible hours and in extreme weather conditions
Having an eye for detail
Good communication and interpersonal skills
