Job Overview  

We are looking for an Infant Teacher to be a part of our team. You should display a warm and nurturing personality and be extremely comfortable with infants. You should be able to work independently and supervise infants while adhering to the center’s guidelines. Moreover, you should be able to create a safe environment for the infants. 

As part of your job responsibilities, you should be able to feed infants on time and sing lullaby to help them sleep. Besides, you should also be able to respond to their needs in a timely manner. You should have excellent observational skills and problem-solving abilities.  

As an Infant Teacher, you should be able to communicate with the parents and keep them updated about the infant’s wellbeing. In addition to this, you should ensure that the daily schedule and routine is being followed.

Responsibilities 

• Supervising infants while they play with their toys 

• Providing a safe environment for the infants 

• Feeding food to infants on time  

• Changing diapers and cleaning infants as and when required 

• Cuddling infants and singing lullaby to help them put to sleep 

• Soothing infants when they cry 

• Placing infants in cribs during their nap time 

• Ensuring that the play areas are safe and clean at all times 

• Responding to the infants needs on time 

• Reporting any unusual behavior or incident to the parents and Center In-charge 

• Actively participating in the developmental programs for infants 

• Ensuring that the daily schedule and routine is being followed 

• Adhering to the center’s guidelines at all times 

• Rewarding good behavior and correcting bad behavior 

Requirements 

• High School Diploma or Degree in any subject 

• Certification or professional training in Early Childhood Development is mandatory 

• Proven work experience in the Education industry as an Infant Teacher, Toddler Teacher or a similar role 

• Complete knowledge of child development techniques and rules governing the education industry 

• Extremely comfortable handling infants and toddlers 

• Highly patient and motivated individual 

• Displaying a caring and warm behavior 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills 

• Excellent observational and listening skills 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Ability to work independently
