Job Overview

We are looking for a Toddler Teacher with a warm and nurturing personality to be a part of our Preschool. You will be responsible for planning and developing creative activities for children. In addition to this, you should ensure a positive and safe environment for the children.

As part of your duty, you should encourage children to have interaction and improve their artistic abilities. Besides, you should act as a mediator to resolve conflicts whenever required. You should be able to attend parent staff meetings and report students’ overall progress. 

Moreover, you should collaborate with other educators and speakers to put in place different educational techniques. You will be responsible for enforcing timely meal breaks. Get in touch immediately if you can contribute to the child’s overall development.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating students overall development

• Helping students express themselves

• Teaching basic manners and life skills

• Guiding students to feed and dress themselves

• Acting as an intermediary between students to resolve conflicts

• Demonstrating appropriate social behavior to students

• Ensuring the classroom is kept clean and tidy at all times

• Enforcing positive behavior and classroom learning

• Meeting with parents to discuss student progress and behavior at home

• Conducting and participating in parents-teacher meetings 

• Planning and implementing creative activities and programs for students

• Applying different educational techniques

• Helping students develop self-esteem and social competence 

• Helping students develop artistic and creative skills

• Enforcing timely meal breaks and nap hours

• Overseeing that the students are safe 

• Collaborating and inviting guest speakers and educators to deliver creative sessions

Requirements

• High school diploma or degree in any subject

• Previous experience as a Toddler Teacher, Kindergarten Teacher, Preschool Teacher, or a similar role in the Education field

• Certification in a relevant teacher’s training program is mandatory

• Extremely comfortable in handling small children

• Displaying a warm and friendly personality

• Ability to manage different types of temperaments with a calm composure

• Knowledge of different educational and child development techniques

• Good problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and listening skills

• Creative and motivated individual

• Good time management and organizational skills

• Excellent observation skills

• Demonstrating high patience levels
