Job Overview 

We are looking for a Lead Preschool Teacher with a warm and approachable personality to join us. You will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing the curriculum. Besides, you should also be able to promote a positive learning environment and monitor the performance of the Preschool Teachers.  

You will also be responsible for conducting recreational activities and tracking the performance of the students. Moreover, you will also be responsible for organizing parent-teacher and staff meetings. Your job role will also be required you to attend to any accidents and classroom conflicts. In addition to this, you should also ensure that the classrooms are kept clean and organized at all times. 

As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you should have proven work experience and demonstrate excellent teaching skills. Furthermore, you should have a complete understanding of the educational policies and familiarity with various educational techniques. A successful candidate should also display strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities 

  • Planning, designing, and implementing curriculum 

  • Training and supervising the daily performance of Preschool Teachers 

  • Examining and documenting every child’s progress 

  • Discussing the child’s behavior and progress with the parents 

  • Organizing and leading parent-teacher and staff meetings 

  • Adhering to the educational policies and guidelines at all times 

  • Promoting a positive learning classroom environment 

  • Creating and coordinating weekly teaching and recreational plans 

  • Conducting recreational activities for the children 

  • Gathering age-appropriate developmental materials for the classroom 

  • Ensuring that the classrooms are kept clean and organized at all times 

  • Using various educational techniques to draw the attention of the children 

  • Attending to any accidents in a timely manner 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field 

  • Holding a valid CDA and CPR certification 

  • 3-5 years of work experience as a Lead Preschool Teacher, Preschool Teacher, Toddler Teacher or a similar role in the Education department 

  • Complete knowledge of the educational rules and policies 

  • Familiarity with various teaching techniques such as storytelling 

  • Excellent teaching skills 

  • Good time management and organizational skills 

  • Strong communication and presentation skills 

  • Excellent leadership skills 

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively 

  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual 

  • Ability to stand for long hours
