We are looking for a skilled and motivated Industrial Maintenance Technician to be a part of our team. You will be primarily responsible for ensuring that the equipment and machinery are in working condition. You should be able to interpret blueprints and refer to the instructions provided in the work order.  

Your strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail will be helpful in identifying any faults in the mechanical systems. Besides, you should also perform timely maintenance checks. You should also assist in installing new machinery and send any broken or damaged parts for repairs.  

To perform in this job role, you should have complete knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. Moreover, you should also adhere to the industry and safety guidelines at all times. In addition to this, demonstrating excellent mechanical and technical skills will work to your advantage.

Responsibilities 

• Reviewing and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings 

• Assisting in the installation of new production equipment 

• Performing equipment servicing and maintenance tasks 

• Examining to check if all the production machinery is in working order 

• Identifying and troubleshooting any mechanical faults and issues 

• Using hand and machine tools when handling any machinery or mechanical parts 

• Undertaking regular maintenance checks 

• Processing broken or damaged machine parts for repairs and upgrades 

• Preparing, maintaining, and presenting detailed maintenance reports 

• Adhering to the instructions mentioned in the work orders 

• Installing new machinery as and when required 

• Checking system functionality by running diagnostic tests 

• Adhering to the safety regulations and industry guidelines at all times 

Requirements 

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, or equivalent 

• Proven work experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, Technician or a similar role in the Engineering industry 

• Complete knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems 

• Understanding of hand and machine tools 

• Familiarity with the safety regulations and industry standards 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Good time management and organizational skills 

• Excellent technical and mechanical skills 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to work under pressure and in stressful environments 

• A team player and ability to work independently 

• Having an eye for detail 

• Ability to offer excellent customer service
