We are actively looking for a hardworking and detailed individual to join our Facilities department as a Gardener.  

As a Gardener, you are responsible for maintaining the garden clean and tidy. You will also be responsible for planting and watering the plants. In addition to this, you should make use of various gardening hand and power tools.  

To be a successful Gardener, you should have extensive knowledge of fertilizers. You should also know various gardening techniques. Apart from this, you should possess an excellent ability to work for long working hours and excellent physical stamina.

Responsibilities  

• Maintaining the garden as per the clients' requirements.  

• Planting seasonal plants to make the garden look attractive.  

• Maintaining the lawn by weeding and aerating the grass.  

• Watering the plants and grass as per their needs.  

• Pruning and trimming the grass and plants.  

• Using gardening equipment and machinery as and when needed.  

• Monitoring the progress of the growing plants.  

• Making use of fertilizers both natural and synthetic.  

• Maintaining gardening equipment and tools.  

• Cleaning the garden on a day-to-day basis.  

• Reporting to the Superviser if there are any garden-related issues.  

• Providing excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.  

• Gathering and disposing of rubbish and litter from the ground.  

• Performing pest control and managing weed control.  

• Adhering to all the health and safety rules and regulations.  

• Staying updated with the various gardening techniques.  

Requirements  

• High school diploma or GED.  

• Experience working in the Facilities department as a Gardener or a similar role.  

• Demonstrate the ability the manage time efficiently.  

• Good communication skills.  

• Ability to work in harsh conditions.  

• Ability to lift heavy loads and equipment.  

• Experience and knowledge of various gardening techniques.  

• Knowledge and understanding of synthetic and natural fertilizers.  

• Excellent ability to work for long periods of time.  

• Good organizational skills.  

• Ability to use hand and power tools.  

• Ability to read and understand safety precautions.  

• Ability to offer excellent customer service.  

• A close eye for details.
