Job Overview 

Our Finance department is looking to hire a Broker with decent years of industry experience and knowledge. You should be able to help clients make smart financial decisions and investments. You should be able to review the client's investment portfolios and help them manage the same.  

You should be able to conduct market research and stay abreast with the latest developments in the industry. Moreover, you should be able to review the stock market on a timely basis and assist clients with the purchase or sale of stocks. Furthermore, you should be able to develop effective investment strategies. 

As a Broker, you should be able to build and maintain an impressive client base. Besides, you should also be able to pitch to potential clients via cold calling or sending emails. In addition to this, you should display excellent mathematical and analytical skills. Your ability to update clients on profitable investment opportunities will be advantageous.

Responsibilities 

  • Communicating with clients and offering them relevant investment advice 

  • Preparing, maintaining, and evaluating financial reports 

  • Reviewing and managing clients’ investment portfolios 

  • Monitoring and providing clients with an update on their investment portfolios 

  • Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the financial sector 

  • Reviewing the stock market and informing clients of any investment opportunities 

  • Cold calling, pitching to new clients, and building new client base 

  • Developing effective investment strategies 

  • Helping clients in the purchase and sale of stocks 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field 

  • 3-5 years of work experience as a Broker or a similar role in the Finance department 

  • Complete knowledge of the financial sector, market trends and developments 

  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills 

  • Having an eye for detail 

  • Good time management and organizational skills 

  • Ability to conduct in-depth research 

  • Strong communication and presentation skills 

  • Good negotiation skills 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel 

  • Highly motivated individual 

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations 

  • Strong troubleshooting abilities 

  • Ability to offer enhanced customer experience
