Job Overview 

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Stockbroker to be a part of our Finance department. You should be able to help clients in making sound financial investments. Besides, you should also be able to study clients’ investment portfolios and suggest improvements accordingly. 

You should be able to conduct market research and develop effective investment strategies. You should also be able to track clients’ investments and maintain a report of the same. Moreover, you should remain up-to-date with the latest developments in the financial sector. 

As a Stockbroker, you should display excellent mathematical skills. In addition to this, you should also be able to contact potential clients and offer them your services. Furthermore, you should be able to review the stock market and other investment options on a timely basis. Your ability to handle stressful situations and maintain a calm composure at all times will be invaluable.

Responsibilities 

  • Communicating with clients and offering them accurate financial information and advice 

  • Gathering and analyzing financial data and reports 

  • Reviewing and managing client's investment portfolios 

  • Updating clients on the status of their investment portfolios 

  • Conducting research on financial markets and informing clients of any new investment opportunities 

  • Developing and implementing effective investment strategies 

  • Evaluating the market conditions on a timely basis 

  • Coordinating with Investment Analyst before providing consultation to clients 

  • Pitching for new clients via cold calling and sending promotional emails 

  • Keeping a track of client's investments 

  • Preparing, updating, and maintaining a report of client details 

  • Staying up-to-date with the latest financial news and industry developments 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field 

  • 3-5 years of work experience as a Broker, Stockbroker, or a similar role in the Finance industry 

  • Complete knowledge of the finance industry, trends, and latest developments 

  • Excellent mathematical and negotiation skills 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Good time management and organizational skills 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools especially Excel 

  • Ability to handle stressful situations 

  • Highly reliable and motivated individual 

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively 

  • Having an eye for detail 

  • Ability to offer improved customer service
