We are interested in hiring an experienced and trained Babysitter to join our team. Your prime goal will be taking care of the children when their parents are away.

As a Babysitter, you will be responsible for continuously monitoring the children. You will also be responsible for maintaining the child’s play area and sanitizing all the toys regularly. You should be teaching the importance of good personal hygiene and good habits.

In addition to this, you should be creating daily lessons that are developmentally appropriate and fun. You should also be preparing a proper meal schedule. You will be picking up and dropping off the children at various extracurricular classes and other activities.

Apart from being punctual, you should possess extraordinary nursing skills and the ability to instruct children in an effective manner. Having professional training in first aid will be a plus for this job role.

Responsibilities 

• Preparing instructional and meal schedules for the children.

• Watching the children when parents are not available.

• Engaging in sound educational and development activities.

• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness as and when possible.

• Supervising children’s day to day activities.

• Sanitizing toys and play equipment on a regular basis.

• Changing diapers and giving potty training.

• Picking up children from school and other activities classes.

• Informing parents in case of any emergency at home.

• Answering all the phone calls from parents.

• Adhering to all the rules and regulations set by the parents.

• Acquiring help from parents, medical or similar as and when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

• Work experience as a Babysitter, Nanny, or a similar role.

• A valid driver’s license.

• A professional certification or training in CPR and first aid.

• Strong experience in tackling emergencies.

• Excellent nursing skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to conduct cross background checks.

• Must provide three references.

• Demonstrate the ability to work for a long period of time and weekends as well.

• Excellent knowledge of child development stages.

• Ability to multitask productively.

• Excellent physical stamina and lift heavy objects.

• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure.

• Enthusiastic and motivated individual.

• Amazing judgment skills.

• Should be 18+ years of age.

• Profound ability to practice childcare skills.
