We are looking for a Personal Chef to handle our clients’ meal preferences and requirements. As a part of this job role, you should be able to communicate with clients and make note of their preferences, requirements, food allergies and any other dietary restrictions. 

You should be able to prepare and serve various meals on time. Besides, you should also be able to shop for ingredients and check the same for quality and expiry date. As a Personal Chef, you should adhere to the industry standards and food safety guidelines at all times.  

To excel in this job role, you should demonstrate top-notch culinary skills and should have an eye for detail. You should also be familiar with various cuisine styles and kitchen equipment. Your ability to prepare and present meals creatively will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities 

• Communicating with clients to determine their food preferences and dietary restrictions 

• Ensuring to take note of any food allergies or particular meal preparation specifications from clients 

• Preparing and presenting customized meal plans for approval 

• Stocking on various ingredients and kitchen tools required 

• Reviewing ingredients and other packaged food products to check for quality and consumption date 

• Adhering to the food, safety, and hygiene standards at all times 

• Cleaning and maintaining the work station before and after every meal preparation 

• Providing clients the instructions on the consumption of certain food items 

• Plating and serving meals to clients on time 

• Washing, cleaning, and sanitizing cooking equipment and utensils 

• Ensuring that there is no waste of food 

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent 

• Proven work experience in the Hospitality industry as a Personal Chef, Chef, Cook , or a similar role 

• Professional Culinary training or certification is desirable 

• Complete knowledge of industry, safety, and hygiene standards 

• Understanding of nutritional requirements 

• Knowledge of various cooking and cuisine styles 

• Good time management and organizational skills 

• Having an eye for detail 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

• Willingness to work for flexible hours 

• Ability to handle stressful situations 

• Highly motivated and creative individual 

• Ability to offer excellent customer service
