Our Hospitality company is looking forward to hiring a hardworking candidate as a Porter on an urgent basis.
You will be responsible for performing all the housekeeping and cleanliness duties of the hotel. You will also be responsible for doing minor repairs and fixes as and when needed. Additionally, you should be able to provide support to the administrative team and perform miscellaneous tasks.
As an ideal candidate, you should be working during weekends as well as public holidays. You should also have extensive knowledge of various health and safety rules and regulations. Along with this, the ability to communicate fluently with the team members is also essential for this job role.
You should have a good ability to manage time and solve problems spontaneously. Furthermore, you will be requiring to work in a busy working environment.

Guiding the guests to the reception section.
Making sure the entrance is well organized.
Welcoming the guests with a smiling face.
Labeling and monitoring the guest's luggage with tags.
Maintaining cleanliness in the assigned areas.
Using various cleaning techniques such as sweeping, mopping, etc. to keep it clean and tidy
Handling and maintaining cleaning equipment.
Making note of missing equipment and reporting the same.
Notifying the management if additional stocks are required.
Performing miscellaneous tasks as and when requested.
Cleaning the areas multiple times.
Fixing minor issues as and when needed.
Completing all the closing duties.
Transporting heavy objects and furniture.
Complying with all the health and safety regulations.
High school diploma or a GED.
Proven work experience as a Porter or a similar role in the Hospitality industry.
A valid driver's license is mandatory.
Knowledge and understanding of various cleaning procedures.
Ability to lift heavy objects and excellent physical stamina.
Knowledge of security regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
Excellent eye for details.
Ability to communicate efficiently with the team members.
Ability to maintain cleanliness.
Excellent time management abilities.
Good people and social skills.
Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to solve the problem promptly.
