Our IT firm is on the lookout for a Quality Analyst to be a part of our team. You will be responsible for creating test plans and ensuring those meet the product objectives and requirements. You should also ensure that the test procedures are conducted keeping in mind the industry’s standards and regulations.
You should be able to report any bugs and issues to the Development team. Moreover, you will be responsible for drafting quality assurance policies and procedures for the team. You should be able to effectively test the functionality and reliability of a particular product or service.
To be able to perform in this job role, you should have complete knowledge of the programming languages and various software development methodologies. A successful candidate should be able to handle stressful situations and adhere to strict deadlines.

Developing test cases and plans
Ensuring that the test plans meet the product objectives and requirements
Running test scripts to examine the functionality, quality, and reliability of the product or service
Identifying and reporting any issues and bugs
Monitoring the product or service performance and suggesting improvements
Gathering, analyzing, and maintaining a report of the statistical data
Ensuring that the user experience is accounted for during the testing process
Drafting and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures
Resolving any customer complaints and errors
Performing test procedures while adhering to the industry regulations at all times
Coordinating with the Development team to rectify any errors
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
2-5 years of experience as a Quality Analyst, QA Tester, Software Tester, or a similar role in the IT and Development industry
Understanding of various software development methodologies like DevOps deployment methodology, Agile development methodology, and Rapid application development
Familiarity with the IT industry rules, standards, and regulations
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Having an eye for detail
Good time and project management skills
Ability to organize tasks efficiently
A team player as well as displaying the ability to work independently
Ability to handle stressful situations and strict deadlines
