Job Overview 

Our Marketing department is actively looking for a passionate and talented candidate to join our team as a full-time Associate Editor. 

As an Associate Editor, you will be responsible for planning, editing, and proofreading the content written by the Content Writers. You will be also responsible for ensuring that the content attracts the target audiences. 

To be successful in this job role, you should be able to write engaging and creative pieces of content for the readers. You should possess excellent communication skills as well as outstanding proofreading skills. 

Knowledge of content management systems is a primary requirement for this job role. In addition to this, you should have good time management skills as well.

  • Creating innovative and creative content. 

  • Setting publication standards. 

  • Meeting goals of the organization. 

  • Brainstorming with the team members. 

  • Editing the stories and pieces of content. 

  • Proofreading the content. 

  • Improvising the content without damaging the original content. 

  • Ensuring proper flow, voice, and clarity of the content. 

  • Planning the content on the daily basis. 

  • Guiding the content team as and when required. 

  • Cross-checking the facts, statistics, and dates. 

  • Hiring new writers and training them, if needed. 

  • Supervising the graphics and web development team’s progress with respect to content and SEO. 

  • Evaluating submissions from the Content Writers. 

  • Managing the team of Writer and Reporters

  • Overseeing the artwork and designs. 

  • Managing the budget constraints and project deadlines. 

  • Complying with production rules and regulations. 

  • Staying updated with the latest trends in managing content. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Media, English Literature, or a relevant field. 

  • Proven work experience as an Editor, Assistant Editor, Associate Editor, or a similar position. 

  • Demonstrate excellent proofreading skills. 

  • Good oral and verbal communication skills. 

  • Deep understanding of SEO guidelines. 

  • Ability to meet deadlines. 

  • Excellent knowledge of editing guidelines. 

  • Ability to work in a team environment or independently. 

  • A close eye for details for accuracy. 

  • Proficiency in working with content management systems. 

  • Good knowledge of programming languages such as HTML, JavaScript, etc. 

  • Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to multi-task multiple projects.
