Job Overview

We are looking for a tech savvy and data driven professional to join our Marketing team as an Email Marketing Specialist. You will be responsible for developing email marketing campaigns upon reviewing consumer behavior. Besides, you will also be analyzing past marketing campaigns to report on sales revenue. 

You should be able to coordinate with the Design team to create user-friendly email templates. Proofreading emails for grammar, spellings and sentence structure is also your responsibility. Furthermore, you should ensure including relevant CTA and a persuasive tone in all marketing emails. 

Your job role also includes maintaining a detailed list of email addresses and discarding the non-deliverable ones. A strong social media presence and the ability to generate customer engagement will be an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Generating leads and increasing subscriber count via effective email marketing campaigns

  • Ensuring email templates are user and screen friendly

  • Conducting grammar, spelling and readability checks before sending emails

  • Communicating with the Graphic Designers to create visuals and graphics supporting the email content

  • Maintaining a detailed list of email addresses and filtering those that are no longer in use

  • Responding and following up on potential clients

  • Developing digital ads along with the Content Marketing team

  • Monitoring and reviewing campaign results

  • Ensuring all emails have an appropriate CTA

  • Maintaining a clear and persuasive tone in all marketing/promotional emails

  • Coordinating with the Email Marketing Manager to generate report on campaign sales

  • Writing engaging press releases and newsletters

  • Reviewing campaign effectiveness via statistical analysis

  • Conducting market research to evaluate consumer behaviour 

  • Using email marketing automation tools like Mailchimp, Sendinblue to schedule emails

  • Communicating with the Digital Marketing team to make improvements to campaigns

  • Generating sales revenue report in coordination with the Sales team

  • Ensuring all emails abide to the industry standards and regulations

  • Tracking email marketing KPIs and lead generation activities

  • Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of all email marketing campaigns

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Digital Marketing or related field

  • Knowledge of the industry norms and standards

  • Familiarity with email automation and SEO tools

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work for long hours and under pressure

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

  • Knowledge of the latest trends in email and digital marketing

  • Ability to manage email communications in a professional manner

  • An eye for detail and strong analytical skills

  • Strong time management skills
