We are looking for a passionate Video Journalist to join our team. You should be able to plan, develop, and shoot various video segments. Besides, you should be able to research and confirm the authenticity of various sources. 

You should be able to perform basic editing and develop footages as per industry standards. Also, you should maintain a record of all the footages. As a Video Journalist, you should be able to travel to different locations and conduct interviews with celebrities and well-known artists.

Responsibilities

• Conducting in-depth research on the trendy and current topics before every video

• Planning and developing various video segments

• Shooting and selecting best shots

• Determining the location for video interviews

• Interviewing people associated with the story

• Checking the sound and image quality of the recorded footage

• Including texts in the recorded footage

• Deleting unwanted footages

• Uploading and maintaining a folder with daily footages

• Investigating and compiling data from various sources

• Checking the authenticity of various sources

• Assisting Reporters to various events and functions

• Adhering to the reporting norms and practices when covering stories

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Media, Communications, or a related field

• Proven work experience as a Video Journalist, Reporter, or a similar position in the Media industry

• Knowledge of norms and ethics in reporting and journalism

• Familiarity with the camera and other recording equipment

• Basic knowledge of video editing tools like Videoshop and Square Fit

• Up-to-date with the current events and other developments in the industry

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Highly motivated and passionate individual

• Excellent researching skills

• Displaying reliability

• Having a keen eye for detail

• Good time management skills

• Ability to work for long and flexible hours

• Willingness to travel to different locations
