Job Overview 

We are looking for an attentive and smart Unarmed Security Guard to join us. You will be primarily responsible for ensuring complete security of the building premises. You should be able to patrol the building and surrounding areas to restrict any suspicious activities. Besides, you should be able to maintain an accurate log of all the daily visitors.  

You will be responsible for informing the building committee of any wrongdoings and report any suspicious activities. Also, you should be able to monitor the surveillance cameras at all times. Furthermore, you should also be able to respond to any emergency calls from building members. 

As an Unarmed Security Guard, you should have excellent observational skills. In addition to this, you should have a clean criminal record. You should also be familiar with the various surveillance equipment and have an understanding of security procedures. You should be highly motivated and able to handle any stressful situations.

Responsibilities 

• Patrolling buildings, premises entrances, and other facilities 

• Entering the name and contact details of the people before entering the premises 

• Authorizing the entry of vehicles 

• Identifying and reporting any suspicious activities to the management or building committee 

• Ensuring that all exits and entrances are secured properly 

• Answering any emergencies calls and complaints 

• Maintaining and updating the report of daily surveillance activities 

• Regularly monitoring the surveillance cameras 

• Responding to any alarms on time 

• Handling visitors display non-compliance with the security procedures 

• Maintaining a log of daily visitors 

• Ensuring no damage to the property 

Requirements 

• High school diploma or GED 

• 2-3 years of work experience in the Security department as an Unarmed Security Guard or a Security Guard  

• Holding a valid license and registration as an Unarmed Security Guard 

• Understanding of self-defense techniques 

• Having a clean criminal background 

• Complete knowledge of security procedures and surveillance equipment 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills 

• Excellent surveillance skills 

• Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual 

• Ability to work independently and for long hours 

• Ability to offer excellent customer service
