Job Overview 

We are looking for a reliable and efficient Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all our construction projects. Also, you will be obtaining construction permits and coordinating with the stakeholders. 

You will be responsible for preparing and assigning duties to the team members. Moreover, you should be able to supervise the working of Construction Workers and ensure project completion as per the assigned timeline. You will be communicating with the clients and Architects to ascertain the project requirements.  

To excel at this job role, you should display excellent leadership and negotiation skills. In addition to this, you should be detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills. Furthermore, having a proven work experience in the construction industry will be beneficial.

Responsibilities 

  • Reviewing and negotiating contract terms 

  • Examining the cost of raw materials and other resources for every project 

  • Obtaining construction permits and licenses 

  • Hiring and supervising the construction staff  

  • Overseeing the progress of construction projects and workers 

  • Ensuring that all construction practices adhere to the government guidelines and protocols 

  • Collaborating and coordinating with stakeholders and external vendors 

  • Adhering to the construction timeline and budget 

  • Maintaining and presenting a detailed report on the construction project 

  • Ensuring that all health and safety standards are being enforced 

  • Communicating with clients to understand the construction vision and requirements 

  • Providing a cost estimate to clients 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the Construction industry as a Commercial Construction Project Manager, Construction Project Manager, Construction Manager, or a similar role 

  • Familiarity with the industry guidelines and safety protocols 

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills 

  • Good time management and organizational skills 

  • Displaying strong leadership qualities 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Team player  

  • Ability to manage deadlines and stressful situations 

  • Ability to work at flexible hours 

  • Detail-oriented and highly motivated individual 

  • Ability to offer excellent customer service
