Job Overview 

Our educational institute is in search of a dedicated and smart individual to join us as a Vice Chancellor. You should be able to serve at various council and provide your suggestions and inputs whenever required. Also, you should be able to examine educational policies, academic programs and suggest improvements. You will also be responsible for allocating resources and assigning budgets to various departments. 

As a Vice Chancellor, you should also be able to attend conferences and seminars and speak at educational events. Moreover, you should also ensure that the educational policies and guidelines are being adhered to at all times. This job position will also require you to assist in the recruitment of faculty and other staff members. 

To be able to perform in this job role, you should have at least 10 years of experience in the educational sector. In addition to this, you should demonstrate strong leadership skills and have a strong academic background. Your ability to multitask and handle any stressful situations will be advantageous. You should also have good networking skills and the ability to maintain long-term relationships.

Responsibilities 

  • Serving council and providing inputs 

  • Coordinating with the Chancellor in reviewing academic programs 

  • Examining educational policies and budgets and suggesting improvements 

  • Allocating resources and funds and monitoring the same 

  • Attending conferences, workshops, and seminars 

  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with academic institutions and organizations 

  • Performing basic administrative duties as and when needed 

  • Delivering speeches at various academic events 

  • Coordinating with the Deans and Head of Departments in planning academic courses 

  • Ensuring that the educational policies and guidelines are being followed 

  • Assisting in the recruitment of faculty and staff members 

Requirements 

  • A doctorate degree in any relevant field 

  • 10-15 years of work experience in the Educational sector as a Vice Chancellor or a Principal 

  • Complete knowledge of the educational guidelines, rules, and regulations 

  • Excellent academic background 

  • Strong communication, presentation, and networking skills 

  • Good time management and organizational skills 

  • Strong leadership skills 

  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual 

  • Impressive multitasking skills 

  • Ability to handle stressful situations
