We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to guarantee each member of our company complies with security, health and safety laws. As a Safety Manager, you will be responsible for setting up policies that will build and maintain a safe work environment. You should also have an amazing meticulousness in recognizing hazards. You should convey rules to a multidisciplinary workforce, discover opportunities to improve conditions and execute different programs for safety. Your main objective is to make sure that the working environment meets all legal expectations and effectively supports occupational safety and health (OSH).
Visit work locales or sites to lead safety audits on the faculty, equipment and materials.
Assess, evaluate and adjust safety techniques and policies.
Research and execute new material handling processes to ensure safety.
Evaluate accident reports, assess damage and injury case investigations based on available facts.
Direct safety training instructional sessions for employees and sellers.
Guarantee compliance with regulatory bodies and standards including OSHA, EPA, and so forth.
Ensure compliance by researching environmental regulations, policies and institute changes.
Administer the applications for and receipt of fundamental licenses.
Lead damage, injury and incident inquiries with diligence.
BA/BS degree in Safety Management or Environmental Health is preferred
Professional CHST Certification is a must.
Proven 5+ year work experience as a Safety Manager.
Profound understanding of legal occupational health and safety rules.
Capable to produce reports and create relevant policies.
Great knowledge of data analysis and hazard assessment.
Outstanding organizational and motivational skills.
In-depth Knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards with respect to development.
