Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Event Manager to join our firm. 

You should be able to arrange events and occasions that will make an impact on a target audience. You should make sure that the events are cost-effective and successful by paying attention to budget plans and time requirements.

You should possess excellent organizational skills and an understanding of event planning and marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute events as per the goals and objectives.

  • Provide recommendations to enhance the success of an event.

  • Ensure adherence to budget plans.

  • Source and negotiate with the suppliers.

  • Arrange and organize all the tasks of the event.

  • Lead special promotional activities for the event.

  • Manage and supervise all staff including facilitators, designers, caterers, etc.

  • Grant approval to all arrangements before the event.

  • Provide a guarantee for the smooth completion day of the event.

  • Coordinate with others such as contractors and caterers to arrange the event.

  • Prepare a report of the issues and determine possible measures to resolve them.

  • Prepare detailed reports about the entire event. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business Marketing or relevant field.

  • 3-year experience of working as an Event Manager, Event Coordinator, Event Planner or a similar role.

  • Proficient with event management KPIs and marketing techniques.

  • Strong understanding of event planning strategies.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.

  • Strong organization and analytical skills.

  • Exceptional customer service skills.

  • Ability to work in a team or individually as and when required.

  • Strong negotiation and sales skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Customer-oriented individual and an outstanding problem-solver.

  • Strong numerical abilities.

  • Good listening skills.

  • A keen eye on details for accuracy.

  • Good time management skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Exceptional decision making abilities.
