Job Overview

We are looking for a Pantry Cook to join our kitchen staff on a full-time basis. 

As a Pantry Cook, you will be responsible for the entire food preparation process. You will be coordinating with the food production department and deciding on a weekly menu. The food menu will contain everything from breakfast to dinner, from desserts to cold appetizers. We expect you to have the knowledge about all the cooking practices and etiquettes of fine dining. 

You should be proficient with all kinds of cooking techniques whether it is frying or baking. You should be capable of working in a fast-paced workplace. You should possess excellent knowledge of health and safety rules regarding kitchen work areas. 

Your goal will be to provide an outstanding dining experience for our clients. Good customer service should be the primary motto.

  • Decide the menu beforehand and get all the ingredients ready.

  • Prepare cold appetizers as per requests or guidelines.

  • Serve all appetizers with proper seasoning.

  • Store food items in order to keep them fresh. 

  • Perform meal preparations before the arrival of customers.

  • Ensure there is no wastage of food items.

  • Check arrangements for all dishes, for instance, ingredients, temperature, plating, etc.

  • Perform different tasks as assigned by the Head Chef.

  • Prepare dishes as per the recipe or directions.

  • Communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction with service.

  • Stock adequate levels of food supplies at workstation.

  • Clean and sterilize kitchen equipment regularly.

  • Keep a perfect and clean workplace in compliance with all applicable codes and safety best practices.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts. High school diploma or associate degree from a culinary school.

  • 2+ years of experience working as a Pantry Cook. Entry-level candidates can also apply.

  • Outstanding experience with professional kitchen equipment.

  • Should have excellent knowledge about quality food service.

  • Should practice proper food hygiene.

  • Comfortable to work in different shifts.

  • Good multitasking skills.

  • Good communication skills.
