As a Communications Specialist, you are responsible for managing the entire internal and external communication of the organization. You are also responsible for communicating with the media and press reaching out to us.

You should have a presentable personality as you will be the first point of contact and the face of the organization. You should have an incredible knowledge of the company’s products or services, and policies. In addition to this, you will be compiling publications and media releases. 

To be successful in this job role, you should possess amazing communication skills with the ability to manage tasks on time.  You should develop innovative communication strategies with a strategic mindset. In addition to this, you will be creating a positive image for the company.

  • Developing marketing plans and strategies for the company.

  • Understanding in detail the products and services the company has to offer.

  • Coordinating and arranging conferences and events. 

  • Drafting publicity materials, press releases, articles, and other related materials.

  • Collaborating with Marketing Professionals to establish and maintain relationships with them.

  • Handling media inquiries in a professional manner.

  • Adhering to the company’s rules and regulations.

  • Maintaining and managing the company’s social media presence in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Team.

  • Working closely with other fellow team members and brainstorming ideas as and when required.

  • Maintaining a healthy relationship with Journalists and other media personnel.

  • Managing the company’s campaign effectively.

  • Coming up with creative ideas to share company messages.

  • Staying up to date with various communications strategies and techniques.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.

  • Working experience as a Communications Specialist, Communications Assistant, or a similar role in the Marketing industry.

  • Demonstrate great writing skills.

  • Strong understanding of project management skills.

  • Great working experience in Content Management system.

  • Excellent proofreading skills.

  • Ability to manage tasks and prioritize them.

  • Quick problem-solving skills.

  • A close eye for detail.

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of social media platforms.

  • Great team management skills.

  • Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure as part of a team.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

  • A creative individual who can think outside the box.
