Our Real Estate company is looking for an experienced and hardworking individual to join our team as an Apartment Manager.

As an Apartment Manager, you will be responsible for making advertisements on various channels/platforms to attract prospective tenants. You will also be responsible for collecting rent from tenants and following up with the overdue rents. 

You should have an excellent understanding of various insurance plans and coverage required for a building. As you will be a primary point of contact, you should possess excellent communication skills. In addition to this, maintaining the apartment is one of the most important tasks for this job position.

Apart from this, you should be able to manage time and multitask effectively. You should also have exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to provide extraordinary customer service to the residents.

  • Preparing a proper budget plan.

  • Preparing advertisements for vacant apartments.

  • Ensuring the complex amenities work efficiently.

  • Completing lease agreements paperwork.

  • Collecting rent from the tenants.

  • Meeting the prospective tenants.

  • Resolving conflicts, if any.

  • Following up with unpaid rent from the tenants.

  • Taking insurance plans and coverage of the apartment.

  • Performing background checks on the prospective tenants.

  • Reporting any apartment problems.

  • Performing apartment inspections regularly.

  • Maintaining the apartment and its premises neat and clean.

  • Reporting to the Security Manager for any suspicious activity.

  • Paying the building taxes regularly.

  • Maintaining a healthy relationship with the tenants.

  • Hiring staff to upkeep the apartment.

  • Maintaining a log report on the maintenance of the complex.

  • Adhering to all the rules and regulations of the apartment.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administrator, or a related field.

  • Proven work experience as an Apartment Manager, Property Manager, or a similar role in the Real Estate industry.

  • Sound knowledge of building codes.

  • Exceptional knowledge of local, state, and federal property regulations

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Illustrate the ability to work in a stressful environment.

  • Good problem-solving skills.

  • A customer-oriented individual with decision-making abilities.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Phenomenal time management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
