Job Overview

We are looking for a Leasing Agent to work on lease agreement of a property between the owner and lessor.

As a Leasing Agent, your aim will be to guard potential clients and make them actual customers and earn a high occupancy rate. You should have sales experience in the relevant field. You will be the spokesperson of the property. You will have to coordinate with several other leasing agents and will be directly answerable to the Leasing Coordinator.

  • Meet potential lessors and present them with the lease properties.

  • Provide market knowledge to the owners of the property.

  • Prepare leases by following the property standards and regulations.

  • Ensure proper maintenance of the property.

  • Collect application fees, deposits, and rental payment on a regular basis.

  • Match and compare customer’s needs with the property available for lease.

  • Maintain all the paperwork such as leasing applications, agreements, and move-in packages.

  • Coordinate smoothly with prospective renters and prospective tenants.

  • Handles answer questions of sales by phone, email, and messages.

  • Create promotional emails and announcements to advertise available properties

  • Provide keys to the renters on time.

  • Inform the residents of any changes in the lease agreement regarding the property.

  • Negotiate and close deals on leasing terms.

  • Stay updated regarding property market status.


  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Proven 2+ years of work experience as a Leasing Agent, Real Estate Agent or Property Manager.

  • Verified license for Lease/ Real Estate.

  • Proven record of sales will be preferred.

  • Computer literate.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with potential renters.

  • Know-how of the real estate industry.

  • Multitasker and ability to work under pressure.

  • Outstanding marketing skills. 

  • Excellent customer service abilities.

  • Ability to maintain a positive work environment.

  • Detail orientated and problem-solving abilities.
