Job Overview 

We are looking for an ideal candidate to join our Security Department as a Security Officer for our organization.

You are responsible for continuously monitoring the surveillance cameras and sounding alarms. You are also responsible for keeping an eye on suspicious activity in and around the organization premises. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure a safe and secure environment for the clients as well as the employees of the organization.

In addition to this, you should be inspecting the building and equipment controls room on a regular basis.  You should have a sharp eye to detect any suspicious or criminal behaviors of an intruder. To be successful in this job role, you should be able to make last-minute decisions in emergency situations.

Prior work experience as a Security Officer will be an advantage for this position. You should possess excellent communication skills, quick problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work in teams. The ability to maintain confidentiality under pressure is also a mandatory skill.

  • Inspect the in and out of the business premises on a regular basis.

  • Setting up and installing security equipment if necessary.

  • Monitor surveillance cameras continuously.

  • Ensure no outsider enters the premises without permission from the authorities.

  • Patrol access points of the premises.

  • Ensure that doors and windows are locked properly after the operation.

  • Identify risk in a security situation promptly.

  • Create a report for the incidents and submit it to the Security Manager.

  • Help clients or new employers with their security concerns.

  • Ensure the employee vehicles are parked in a proper manner.

  • Work in collaboration with team members to ensure a safe work environment.

  • Maintain safety via legal security compliance of the organization.

  • Prepare and submit day to day security reports.


  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 3+ years of experience as a Security Guard, Security Officer, or a similar role in the Security Department.

  • Registered as Security Officer.

  • Trained in First Aid as well as Self Defence.

  • Excellent experience in working with surveillance cameras and security systems.

  • Exceptional knowledge of public safety and its procedures.

  • Demonstrate great judgment skills.

  • A keen eye for detail.

  • Amazing ability to solve problems in emergency situations.

  • Great decision-making abilities.

  • A critical thinker.

  • Ability to work for long periods of time and on weekends as well.

  • Phenomenal surveillance and reporting abilities.

  • Ability to manage time effectively.
