Job Overview 

We are in search of a reliable and knowledgeable individual to join us as a Legal Analyst. You will be responsible for performing in-depth research and gathering legal information. Besides, you should also be able to serve as an intermediatory contact between the clients and the legal team. You should also be able to draft legal documents such as leases, contracts, and policies. 

As a Legal Analyst, you should be able to analyze rulings and regulations. Moreover, you should be able to assist the Attorneys in preparing various court cases. You should also be able to gather and review witness testimonies.  

To be able to perform in this job role, you should have a complete knowledge of the legal guidelines and procedures. In addition to this, you should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Your ability to handle stressful situations and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information will be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities 

  • Performing in-depth legal research  

  • Gathering and maintaining legal data and documents 

  • Analyzing rulings and regulations 

  • Drafting and proofreading legal documents such as leases, contracts, licenses, and policies 

  • Maintaining and updating a detailed record of all case filings 

  • Providing legal and regulatory support to clients 

  • Undertaking administrative duties whenever required 

  • Acting as an intermediatory contact between the clients and the legal team 

  • Preparing and maintaining detailed legal reports 

  • Assisting Attorneys with case preparations 

  • Gathering and reviewing witness testimonies 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law 

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience as a Legal Analyst, Legal Assistant, Legal Counsel or a similar position in the Legal department 

  • Holding a valid license to practice 

  • Complete knowledge of the legal guidelines, procedures, and regulations 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Good time management and organizational skills 

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools 

  • Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information 

  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual 

  • A team player as well as ability to work independently 

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
