We are looking for a Producer with experience in the Media industry to join our team. You will be responsible for establishing pre and post-production policies and ensuring proper implementation of the same. Besides, you should be able to divide the production budget and determine shoot locations.

Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be beneficial in contacting sponsors and business partners. You should be able to obtain copyrights to any existing storyline before beginning film production.

In this job role, you should display good time management and organizational skills. Also, you should be highly motivated and able to work in a competitive environment. You will be working closely with the Director and Editor to bring out the best outcome.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning Directors, Writers, and other crew members for the production

• Planning and assigning budget for production

• Approaching sponsors and partners to supplement the assigned production budget

• Establishing management and post-production policies

• Reviewing and approving production processes and changes

• Obtaining production rights for filming existing books, plays, or novels

• Determining production schedule and locations

• Writing and submitting production contracts to various agencies 

• Reviewing and negotiating production contract terms

• Monitoring ongoing and post-production activities

• Analyzing scripts before shooting

• Selecting large-scale and small-scale projects for production

• Checking final edited shots and videos

• Hiring and overseeing the training of crew members

• Ensuring the timely repayment of investors and sponsors

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Filming, Production or a related field

• 2-3 years of experience as a Producer or from a filming or Media background

• Excellent editing skills with knowledge of editing software like Photoshop, Fireworks, and GIMP

• Complete knowledge of production processes

• Knowledge of copyright laws and infringement 

• Excellent time management and project management skills

• Highly motivated and creative individual

• Ability to work collaboratively and independently

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong leadership skills

• Good research and negotiation skills

• Ability to multitask

• Ability to work for long and flexible hours
